A Wyland personal visit to Wyland Galleries in Waikiki Beach in Hawaii draws a standing-room only crowd. Wyland's recent marine life mural in Marathon Key becomes a media event throughout South Florida. And our non-profit foundation's involvement with world-class marine life researchers and educational facilities such as the Scripps Institution of Oceanography continues to teach thousands of school-age children to become more environmentally aware.

A lot of people think Wyland Worldwide, LLC, is only about saving whales. Well, the preservation of marine life is certainly a priority. But we like to think life has its fun side too. A big part of what we do touches children around the world … and we like to think that, in some ways, we're all just big kids ourselves.

By now most people know the story. A young man from Michigan sees a pair of whales barely 100 yards offshore on his first visit to the Pacific Ocean. He is so inspired that he devotes the rest of his life to creating art that captures the beauty of these magnificent creatures. It has been more than twenty years since Wyland began painting his landmark marine life murals. In that time, the company he created - Wyland Worldwide, LLC - has taken a leading role in the promotion and preservation of our ocean resources. The company has expanded into many business categories, including publishing, apparel design, retail merchandise, and fine art distributorships.
